Upload any PDF bank statement — scanned or digital. Documentric uses AI-powered OCR to extract every transaction row accurately.
Every extracted transaction appears in an editable table. Correct dates, amounts, or descriptions before export — no errors carried into Sage.
Download the CSV file, then import it in Sage via Bank Accounts > Import Transactions. Sage maps the columns automatically.
Documentric exports a standard CSV that imports cleanly across all major Sage products.
Sage-compatible CSV column format — no remapping needed
Documentric exports CSV with the Date, Description, Debit, Creditcolumn format that Sage expects. You do not need to open the file in Excel and rearrange columns before importing. Upload the downloaded CSV directly into Sage's import screen.
The exported CSV matches the column order and format Sage expects — Date, Description, Debit, Credit. Import completes without format errors or rejected rows.
One CSV format covers Sage 50, Sage 200, Sage Business Cloud, Sage Accounting, and Sage Intacct. No version-specific export templates to manage.
Every extracted transaction is displayed in an editable table before the CSV is generated. Correct any OCR error so your Sage records are accurate from the first import.
Client financial data is sensitive. All uploaded files are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Nothing is stored beyond what is needed to generate your export.
Sage expects a CSV with columns in the order: Date, Description, Debit, Credit. Some Sage versions also accept a combined Amount column with positive values for credits and negative for debits. Documentric exports with the Date, Description, Debit, Credit format that Sage 50 and Sage Business Cloud both accept without any manual column remapping.
Documentric exports a standard CSV that works with Sage 50 (via Bank Accounts > Import Transactions), Sage 200 (via Bank Ledger > Import), Sage Business Cloud and Sage Accounting (via Banking > Import Bank Statement), and Sage Intacct (via Cash Management > Import). The column format is consistent across all versions.
Sage bank feeds work well when your bank supports a direct connection to Sage. For banks without a Sage integration, for historical statements, or when you only have a PDF rather than an online export, a manual CSV import via Documentric is the fastest and most reliable option.
After importing, go to your bank account in Sage and open the Bank Reconciliation screen. Sage will display the imported transactions alongside your existing ledger entries. Match each transaction to the corresponding payment or receipt, then save the reconciliation. Any unmatched items can be posted as new entries directly from the reconciliation screen.
Documentric gives you 50 free pages with no account required. Upload your PDF, review the extracted transactions, and download the Sage-compatible CSV — all free on your first 50 pages. No credit card needed to get started.
