Payments and refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, ensuring fast, hassle-free resolution.

We want you to be completely satisfied with Documentric. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund. All payments are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record.

1. Free Trial

All paid plans (Starter, Professional) begin with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. You will not be charged unless you choose to continue after the trial period ends.

If you cancel before the trial ends, your account will revert to the Free tier at no charge. No refund request is necessary.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with Documentric after your first paid charge, you may request a full refund within 30 days of that charge. We will process the refund in full — no questions asked.

To claim your refund, email us at billing@bankconverter.comwith the subject line “Refund Request” and include your account email address. We will initiate the refund via Paddle within 2 business days. The refund typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

3. Renewals and Subsequent Charges

The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to your first payment on each plan. Subsequent monthly or annual renewal charges are generally non-refundable. However, we will review refund requests for renewal charges on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at billing@bankconverter.com if you believe you were charged in error or did not intend to renew.

4. Annual Plans

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the full year. If you cancel an annual plan within 30 days of your first payment, you are eligible for a full refund under our money-back guarantee.

Cancellations after 30 days will take effect at the end of your annual billing period. Partial refunds for unused months beyond the 30-day window are not provided, except where required by applicable law.

5. Top-Up Page Packs

One-time top-up packs are non-refundable once purchased and pages have been consumed, except where required by applicable law or where you exercise a statutory withdrawal right. If you accidentally purchased a top-up and have not used any pages from it, contact us within 48 hours and we will review your request.

6. Situations Not Eligible for Refunds

  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Charges older than 30 days from the original payment date (outside the guarantee window), except where a statutory right applies.
  • Charges where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.
  • Charges for add-ons or top-up packs where pages have already been consumed, except as required by applicable law.

7. How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds are issued through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Because Paddle is the seller of record, Paddle's own Refund Policy also applies to all purchases. In the event of any conflict between this policy and Paddle's Refund Policy, Paddle's policy will take precedence.

Paddle processes the refund back to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, or PayPal). You will receive a refund confirmation email from Paddle.

Processing times:

  • We initiate the refund within 2 business days of your approved request.
  • Paddle processes the refund within 1–3 business days.
  • Funds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your financial institution.

8. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks create additional work for both parties and may result in your account being suspended. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly — email us at billing@bankconverter.com.

9. How to Request a Refund

Email billing@bankconverter.com with:

  • The email address associated with your Documentric account.
  • The approximate date of the charge.
  • A brief reason for your refund request (optional but helpful for us to improve).

We will confirm receipt within 1 business day and process your refund within 2 business days of approval.
